Birth Photography

It’s the most important day of your baby’s life, remember it forever!

Birth photography is documentary photography at its finest. No two births are ever the same and I am there to document your experience in a very modest, intimate, and artistic way. I will join you once you are in active labor or if you are having a hospital birth, once you have been admitted. Getting to the birth early allows me to capture laboring photographs, typically several hours before the baby arrive. Once the baby has arrived I will stay a few hours later to capture all of the first moments of your baby’s life!

You will receive a dvd slideshow put to music for you to share with loved ones 48 hours after the birth! Please be sure to contact me for more information. I only allow for two birth shoots a month so the sooner you book the better!

The First Year Plan…

Maternity-First Year
This package captures your baby’s first year, from belly to your child’s first step! Sessions included in this package are as follows: maternity, newborn, 3, 6, 9, 12 months, sure to capture all the little milestones! Upon completion of your plan, you will receive one 8x10 from each session and four 5x7 from each session. Enjoy a complimentary session as a gift for you to continue to capture all those precious little moments into the next year!

Newborn-First Year
Not interested in maternity images? You can still have it all! Sessions on this package are as follows: newborn, 3, 6, 9, 12 months, sure to capture all the little milestones! Upon completion of your plan, you will receive one 8x10 from each session and four 5x7 from each session. Enjoy a complimentary session as a gift for you to continue to capture all those precious little moments into the next year!

First Year Package
Did you miss out on the newborn session? Not to worry, there’s still a plan for you! Sessions included in this package are as follows: 3, 6, 9, 12 months, sure to capture all the little milestones! Upon completion of your plan, you will receive one 8x10 from each session and four 5x7 from each session.

The Cake Smash Package: $225

Your child will have a lot of birthdays, but none as special as their first. There's no sweeter way to celebrate turning one then digging into cake! Introducing The Cake Smash photo shoot. It's fun and messy, but most importantly something that you will never forget!

This session lasts one hour of photography time and includes a complementary cake and balloons, digital processing and an online gallery of approximately 15 images

Important things to keep in mind when booking a session:

Maternity portraits are done in the 3rd trimester, between 30-33 weeks.

Newborn sessions are held during the first 10 days of life (when they are the most cooperative), but the time to book a newborn session is while you're pregnant. Of course, we won't know the exact date of your baby's birth, but I will reserve a space for you based on your estimated due date. When your baby is born, just contact me and we'll arrange our exact session's date and time. These sessions typically last three hours to allow for feedings, diaper changes and naps!

Please make sure your schedule is clear so the session is not rushed to be sure we get the best photographs!
